The Banyan House is one of the grand old homes of Venice which has been delightfully restored as a European-style "Bed & Breakfast" Guest House.  It is truly a unique vacation residence on the Florida Gulf Coast.  The enormous Banyan Tree which dominates the walled courtyard provides an unusual setting for the garden patio, heated pool and spa.   We know you will enjoy the privacy and comfort of this tropical garden as much as we do.

Each morning you will enjoy a different specialty breakfast from our collection of delicious recipes. You will be served at 9:00AM in the solarium which features several exquisite stained-glass picture windows over-looking a serene garden, courtyard and Banyan tree.
Guests often linger with another cup of coffee to chat with new friends. One guest observed that, "There are no strangers at The Banyan House; only friends who haven't met yet."

Adjoining the Solarium is the elegant living room with Victorian furnishings around the Italian sculptured fireplace, together with the high beamed ceiling and red tile floor, also provide an ideal atmosphere for friendly conversation, a game of cards, or just relaxing with a book.

The Banyan House is centrally located on "The Island" in Venice just a short walk from all the great activities and places here: sandy beaches for sunning, swimming, fishing and shelling (prehistoric shark's teeth abound). Complimentary bicycles are also available.
